IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE NEW PASSPORT

REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS

To help you with your travel planning, North Point Travel would like to make sure that you are aware of the latest information regarding passport requirements.

Beginning January 1, 2007, if you are a U.S. citizen outside the country and do not have a valid U.S. passport you will be denied reentry to the United states!.

All travel suppliers (airlines, cruise lines, tour operators and bus lines) will not allow you to start your trip leaving the United States if you are returning to the the U. S. after December 31, 2006 and do not have a valid passport.

To avoid a last-minute rush, please obtain or ensure that you and your traveling companions have valid passports now.

Please be advised that some travel suppliers, depending upon the destination cities in your travel plans, MAY NOT ACCEPT U.S. PASSPORTS IF THEY ARE GOING TO EXPIRE WITHIN SIX MONTHS.  Check directly with your travel supplier to be certain.  If there is any doubt, renew your passport now.
